Noise-canceling headphones can be really helpful if you’re taking a flight or a train to your spring break destination.
A waterproof portable speaker is perfect for the beach or the pool. You can wirelessly connect your smartphone or tablet to the speaker and play your favorite Spotify playlist.
Ideally, bring a multi-charger with you. That way, you can charge all of your electronics with just one charger.
If your phone is not already waterproof, protect your phone from getting wet on the beach or pool by purchasing a waterproof phone case. Most of the cases will also protect your phone from scratches and sand.
Consider packing a portable phone charger as well. This way, you won’t have to worry about your battery going dead while you enjoy an entire day at the beach.
If you want to lie on the beach with a good book, save space in your luggage and bring a Kindle Paperwhite instead of a paperback. And download ebooks ahead of time in case you don’t have a good internet connection at your spring break destination.
Start with a Free Kindle Unlimited trial for unlimited e-books.
If you want to take a lot of action shots, especially in or near the water, bring a GoPro.
Don’t forget to pack the perfect shoes for your trip. Depending on your destination, pack a combination of these shoes:
An anti-theft crossbody or shoulder mini travel purse is great for your Spring Break vacation. You can use it during the day while out exploring or at the beach or at night going out.

Board shorts are a spring break essential if you’re headed to the beach. Make sure to pick a pair of board shorts with a 4-way stretch, which will be perfect for any water activity.
Several light and airy tops are a spring break staple for women. Men can pack a few short-sleeve button-downs.
Ladies should bring a few pairs of quick-dry and jean shorts with them, and men should bring one or two pairs of shorts for activities and a few casual ones.
Don’t forget to bring one or two nicer dresses or rompers for going out. Men could bring khaki pants and a button-down shirt.
Perfect for the beach during the day, exploring the town in the afternoon, and going out to the beach club in the evening, a sundress is a spring break essential.
Don’t forget to bring your favorite pajamas with you for a comfortable night’s sleep.
Don’t let the rain ruin your spring break plans, and bring a packable rain jacket with you. It won’t take up much space in your luggage, and it will be well worth it if it rains.
Wearing a hat is not only stylish, but it will also protect you from the harmful sun rays. Make sure you choose a hat that you can wear at the beach and out on the town.
A pair of cool shades is a must on your spring break vacation. However, you may not want to bring your expensive designer sunglasses to avoid the risk of losing or scratching them. So, choose a pair of resin or plastic shades that will do the job while looking good on you.
You need a beach bag to take to the pool or beach, so choose one that’s lightweight and easy to carry. If you plan to use it only for your stuff, a sack that can fit the day’s essential is all you need.
Depending on the length of your spring break vacation, you will need some of the following luggage:
Keep all your items dry at the beach by using a dry bag.
Pack a travel-size sun kit that includes sunscreen and lip balm with SPF.
Add after-sun lotion and hair care products to your sun kit.
You clearly need a beach towel for your spring break, and choosing a packable quick-dry microfiber travel towel one may be your smartest decision.
Not technically a spring break essential, you can’t deny the fun factor would quadruple with the addition of giant floaties to your spring break packing list.
